Sr Specialist Accounting – Adidas Brasil Barueri, São Paulo, Brasil Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization Secures financial operations by monitoring and approving financial processing and reporting; ensures that accounting records and documentation comply with the requirements of the Group Finance Manual. Key Responsibilities Meets accounting financial standards by monitoring expenditures; identifying variances; implementing corrective actions. Maintains financial security by adhering to internal controls. Verifies accuracy of data and data processing of accounting related information. Prepares monthly intercompany reconciliation. Supports accounting procedures, ensuring month and year‑end balances correctly reflect the economic‑financial reality of the company. Assists internal and external auditors. Supports creation of financial reports according to IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards) and local GAAP. Provides training to workers both orally and in writing on accounting systems, principles and practices. Key Relationships Local finance Local FP&A Local Tax LAM Regional Accounting Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration or related fields. Advanced or fluent English (regional and global communication). Experience with external auditing. Experience in inventory reporting (products or retail). Proficient in SAP and Excel. Solid knowledge of financial processes and accounting principles. Responsibilities and Assignments Described above.
