Senior React.js Developer

This is a role for a senior and active engineer who has the additional responsibility of coordinating with other developers from other teams around him/her and helping React.js engineers across the company to improve their best practices, challenging the status-quo with innovative productivity hacks and data to provide intel and insights. To succeed you will need to be hands on, have an eye to detail, focusing on building reusable components that can be implemented quickly to create and scale the business.

The Internal Tools Tribe is one of the Tribes within the Engineering department, responsible and accountable for many aspects of the technology, vendor solutions and delivery of service operations at Bitso. As stakeholders, the Tribe has Legal, Compliance, Customer Support, Fraud, Finance and other internal solutions for web/mobile developers, with individual squads for each stakeholder area. We aim towards execution and enablement of outstanding productivity and efficacy of our end-users to fulfill their tasks with autonomy, high speed, quality and satisfaction on interacting with our services and solutions. Their success has a direct impact on our Bitso customers and relations to regulators. Therefore, solving their issues and needs, protecting and safe-guarding their crypto portfolio, builds trust and enablement of the Bitso brand in the Latin America region which we operate.
**Your impact**:
- Develop from scratch a new web front-end with React.js in a micro-site architecture.
- Leverage, contribute and reuse Bitso's Design System UI Libraries.
- Drive new feature development and help scale our current product and platforms.
- Ship code for high growth, high visibility markets, every day, for hundreds of users.
- Write high-performance code designed to scale.
- Participate in the planning, execution and testing of new features.
**Who you are**:
- Strong proficiency in Javascript(ECMAScript 2017 or higher).
- Strong domain and experience with ReactJS Framework.
- Strong general computer science knowledge.
- Experience in Git for version control.
- Experience with micro-sites architecture.
- Experience with NPM and building core components for reuse.
- Experience with GraphQL.
- Experience on running Web Sites on AWS Amplify, CloudFront and S3.
- Experience with prototyping tools to extract design definitions for UI components.
- A user-centric mentality for building products.
- Experience working in an Agile environment.
- Experience planning, documenting, testing and releasing features or products.
- English language proficiency.
