Mobile Engineering Manager (Bangkok based, relocation provided) Agoda is an online travel booking platform for accommodations, flights, and more. We build and deploy cutting‑edge technology that connects travelers with a global network of 4.7M hotels and holiday properties worldwide, plus flights, activities, and more. Based in Asia and part of Booking Holdings, our 7,100+ employees represent 95+ nationalities in 27 markets and foster a work environment rich in diversity, creativity, and collaboration. Responsibilities Work closely with product managers to shape and execute projects, lead technical decisions, guide and review the development team’s work, and at times get more hands‑on. Collaborate with our central mobile platform team to ensure the team adopts the latest platform features they develop. Create and drive a roadmap for continuous code cleanup and define a robust testing strategy to ensure the highest quality of delivery. Act as the technical product manager for the team to define what and why, and as the project manager for feature development across this large, critical area to drive how and when. Drive further adoption of cross‑platform technologies and coordinate with other stakeholders. Report to senior leadership and help make strategic decisions that take the company to the next level. Take responsibility for the technical direction of Agoda’s mobile app and stay up‑to‑date with industry trends. Recruit and develop people, inspire those around you, and integrate new A‑players into the team. Qualifications Extremely proficient in either Swift or Kotlin languages. Experienced with, or interested in learning cross‑platform technologies and frameworks such as Kotlin Multiplatform, React Native, Flutter, NativeScript, Ionic. Knowledge of other languages is a plus (e.g. Objective‑C, Java, C#, Scala). Extremely proficient in modern coding practices (dependency injection, reactive programming, MVVM, design patterns). Passionate about technology and mobile apps. Experience working in a successful agile development team. Able to take full responsibility for the product – from early planning stages to deployment and maintenance.
