**About the role**
MetaMap is seeking a process and systems-oriented Product Operations Manager to join our growing team. This hire will be responsible for designing, deploying, and scaling processes and software tools that enable successful product launches, geographical and market expansions, new vertical launches, and other business-critical initiatives. This hire will lead cross-functional collaboration to create standards, best practices, and other streamlining functions for internal teams.
**Key responsibilities**
- Coordinate the product prioritization process including cross-functional input.
- Work with product management and engineering to confirm project sequencing and resourcing.
- Facilitate gate reviews and ensure key artifacts are complete to gain approval and alignment on moving to the next stage of development.
- Collect and route product data from disparate systems and make the data consumable for our Product and UX teams so they can continue building the best features and products.
- Drive internal initiatives that improve the Product organization's processes and ability to deliver best-in-class innovation.
- Identify needs for Product Team training and technology to improve efficiency and evaluate and implement solutions.
- Define and build operating processes that drive the implementation of product strategy across our organization.
- Own the product review process across the whole product portfolio.
- Train and support stakeholders through your efforts of continuous improvement.
**Skills & Experience**
- 10+ years experience in technical product and/or program management and/or product operations.
- 2+ years of experience leading a small but efficient/productive team.
- Experience and expertise using data to drive actionable insights and better organizational and/or product performance.
- Experience seeing technology projects through the full software development lifecycle.
- Expertise with product management process best practices and productivity tools/resources.
- Ability to quickly earn the trust of key stakeholders, set direction and approach, resolve conflict, deliver tough messages, execute with limited information and ambiguity.
- Outstanding track record building relationships and influencing without formal authority+ in a matrixed environment.
- Leadership of geographically distributed, highly talented and diverse teams.
- Hands-on knowledge of go-to-market, new product introductions or other product lifecycle transitions.
- Fluent English skill.
