Sales Manager LATAM - Microsurgery (São Paulo, Capital) – Leica Microsystems

Join Leica Microsystems, part of Danaher's operating companies, and contribute to advancing life sciences through optical and digital solutions. The role reports to the Latam Sales Director & Country Manager Brazil and is based in São Paulo, with remote work to cover the territory.

Responsibilities
  • Manage and execute effectively a strategic growth plan (short, middle and long term) to achieve sustainable growth aligned with global and regional strategy.
  • Lead indirect sales channel effectiveness through CRM (SFDC) and rigorous funnel management and financial acumen.
  • Develop and optimize sales coverage by selecting indirect sales partners, increasing visibility and market share, and managing discount levels/product mix to optimize profitability.
  • Ensure effective commercial execution, forecast process, standard work, daily management, KPIs and action plans to grow sales and market share in the region.
  • Support market research and analysis (VOC) in collaboration with channel partners.
  • Travel to conduct product presentations, demonstrations, trainings, and meetings with final users and channel partners in Latin America.

Professional Experience

  • Strong skills in commercial management.
  • Strong experience in leading indirect channel.
  • Strong experience in capital equipment sales.
  • Experience in medical devices, microsurgery and microscopy business.
  • Experience with cultural differences and global corporate environments.
Education
  • Bachelor's Degree in engineering, marketing, business administration or equivalent.
Language
  • English (advanced)
  • Spanish desired (advanced)
Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment
  • Ability to travel 65% of the time – including overnight travel within the territory and internationally
  • Must have a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record and valid visa and passport
