Join to apply for the Senior Lawyer role at Johnson & Johnson MedTech As a Senior Legal Lawyer based in São Paulo, Brazil, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive legal counsel across the Medical Devices Business and One Vision Business, protecting the company’s interests worldwide. Location São Paulo, Brazil Responsibilities Support and advise on legal matters for Medical Device Businesses, partnering with internal clients and outside counsel, ensuring compliance with applicable legislation, industry guidelines and internal policies. Provide legal support to commercial teams on projects and initiatives for Medical Devices Businesses, including sales, marketing, tenders, regulatory affairs, ethics, compliance, privacy, indirect channel management and M&A. Manage litigation processes related to civil, environmental, regulatory and criminal matters with outside counsel support. Participate in litigation and preventive actions for tax and labor matters, defining case strategy with the cross‑sector team. Identify dispute resolution opportunities to defend company interests and perform managerial review of litigation portfolio. Preserve and build Credo culture by leading people, managing performance and development of employees. Manage outside counsel relationships, directing work of counsel and managing projects. Serve on multi‑disciplinary projects and committees to assess and implement special/significant projects locally and globally. Provide training to local teams and external stakeholders on key legal topics such as contract law, competition law, anti‑corruption, public procurement and ethics. Review and provide legal advice on SOPs and corporate policies; on marketing materials and internal communications. Create and improve templates and processes. Qualifications Law degree. At least 5 years of relevant legal experience, preferably in the health sector. Extensive knowledge of general corporate law. Fluent in English. Strong communication and negotiation skills; proven ability to counsel on complex legal matters. Strong team‑working skills, relationship management, interpersonal, organizational and structural thinking. Ability to manage conflicts constructively and lead by example while maintaining high ethical, legal and compliance standards. Comfortable working as part of a team in a complex matrix organization and dealing with ambiguity, simplifying issues for business partners. #J-18808-Ljbffr
