As a Data Architect, your goal is to improve the reliability of our data systems and facilitate smoother workflows. You will mentor new team members, guiding their growth. You will collaborate with various teams to ensure our data infrastructure supports everyone, explaining complex data concepts simply. You must be skilled with our technology tools and programming languages, and capable of leading the team through updates and changes. Ultimately, you will elevate our data capabilities and foster innovative thinking within the team.

Requirements for this role:

  • Proficient in SQL and Python (or PySpark) for data manipulation, ingestion, cleaning, and analysis.
  • Experience with Databricks environment, Azure Portal, DevOps , and Azure Data Factory (ADF) .
  • Strong understanding of data architecture, data quality principles, and data governance practices, including logging, cataloging, and lineage tracking.
  • Expertise in implementing CI/CD pipelines for ETL processes.
  • Proficiency in English , both written and verbal, for clear communication of complex data concepts to diverse audiences - at High Intermediate level.

Nice to have:

  • Experience with Databricks Unity Catalog
  • Experience in data products and satellite system integration
  • Experience with predictive modeling, especially sales-related models
  • Experience in leading data teams
