Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • Experience with fullstack software development in one or more programming languages.
  • Ability to communicate in English fluently to interact with local stakeholders in this customer-facing role.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related technical field.
  • 2 years of experience with performance, large scale systems data analysis, visualization tools or debugging.
  • Proficiency in code and system health, diagnosis and resolution, and software test engineering.

Search Content Platform (SCP) is a fundamental part of Google Search. Our mission is to organize the world's content to deliver the best Search experiences – at the heart of what Google does. SCP merges structured knowledge (Google's Knowledge Graph) with web content, partner data, images, videos, and more, creating a refined, standardized, and widely accessible distributed content platform.

Responsibilities
  • Write product or system development code.
  • Review code developed by other developers and provide feedback to ensure best practices (e.g., style guidelines, checking code in, accuracy, testability, and efficiency).
  • Build frontend web and backend applications to enable the developers to manage the whole life-cycle of content (creating content ingestion pipelines, working with large datasets, debugging tricky data structures, visualizations of the content, etc).
  • Work with a team of frontend developers with a sense of helping our users via intuitive UX.
  • Partner closely with Search vertical experiences teams (think movies, sports, events etc) to support and co-develop current and future Search product experiences.
