Job Duties
  1. Supervises general operations, applying knowledge of Halliburton's open-hole drilling technologies to independently provide basic services and operate tools at the well site.
  2. Applies engineering, mechanical, and geological principles to interpret basic data for clients using proprietary software and learns to guide clients in various drilling scenarios.
  3. Actively participates in training and developing operators and field professionals in all aspects of open-hole well exploration.
  4. Requires a bachelor's degree in engineering, along with sufficient training and experience to perform essential job functions.
  5. Must have at least 1 year of experience in open-hole drilling operations.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electronic, or Electrical Engineering - active CREA registration.
  • Advanced computer skills.
  • Advanced English proficiency.
  • Knowledge of well logging equipment is a plus.
  • Reside in Macaé or nearby region.
  • Contract type: Hybrid.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Familiarity with Service Operator functions, including equipment preparation and usage at the well site.
  • Assists in preparing logging equipment and units for well logging operations.
  • Assists in assembling tools for well logging (electric, nuclear, sonic, etc.).
  • Helps assemble and disassemble surface well logging equipment and pressure control tools.
  • Inspects equipment before and after use, completes related paperwork and reports.
  • Assists in delivering logs and related services at the site.
  • Committed to the company's HSE programs.
