In this role, you have the opportunity to

Lead the Engineering Management agenda in BEES Platform, responsible for managing software development teams, performance, stability, and engineering metrics.

Work closely with senior product & engineering leadership to provide visibility on the product’s engineering strategy, highlights, lowlights, and action plans.

What you'll do

  1. Know your microservices and business area thoroughly;
  2. Provide technical leadership within the team;
  3. Manage the technical scope delivered by your team;
  4. Align with the roadmap and milestones;
  5. Contribute ideas and knowledge to the product's technical architecture;
  6. Manage and develop team members;
  7. Identify and escalate technical risks, collaborating on decisions;
  8. Support team members' career growth;
  9. Assist the Program Team in removing impediments during Sprints;
  10. Maintain constant alignment with Solutions Architect;
  11. Take ownership of your product to help evolve it effectively;
  12. Strive to create world-class solutions;
  13. Lead technical teams including engineering coordinators, tech leads, software engineers, and QA engineers;
  14. Mentor the engineering team for growth and performance;
  15. Promote continuous improvement and a learning mindset within the team.

What you'll need

  1. Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related fields;
  2. Extensive experience in software development;
  3. Strong understanding of computer concepts (data structures, networking, concurrency, memory management, algorithms);
  4. Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences;
  5. Experience with programming, API communication, debugging;
  6. Strong technical skills in architecture, programming, analysis, debugging, refactoring;
  7. Experience with DevOps tools like Azure, Docker, Kubernetes;
  8. Knowledge of Scrum and Agile methodologies;
  9. Experience with Test Automation and tools like JUnit, Jmeter, Cypress;
  10. Experience with message queues such as RabbitMQ or Kafka;
  11. Understanding of SaaS, PaaS, IaaS models;
  12. Knowledge of cloud databases, especially Atlas MongoDB;
  13. Experience with security protocols like JWT, OAuth;
  14. Familiarity with data engineering and modeling.
