We are looking for a qualified Product Engineer to work in the development and management of products in the defense sector, working in all phases of the product life cycle. This professional will be responsible for ensuring the technical, functional and regulatory integrity of products, from their conception to the mass production phase and after-sales support.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and maintain updated technical documentation for products (drawings, specifications, technical lists, technical and functional requirements);
  • Participate in the definition and validation of production processes, as well as production deadlines and quality;
  • Monitor compliance with normative and regulatory requirements (national and international), including product certifications;
  • Perform technical forecast analyses for product modifications, improvements and updates (value engineering, retrofit, upgrades);
  • Support and participate in the preparation and monitoring of product qualification and validation plans (including PPAP);
  • Monitor strategic suppliers in the development, production and approval activities of critical components;
  • Work in multidisciplinary teams in the context of design reviews, APQP and FMEA;
  • Ensure traceability of design requirements, including the interface with PLM systems;
  • Support application engineering and technical support in analyzing field failures and proposing solutions;
  • Contribute to the process of innovation and development of new products in the defense segment, in special ammunition.
Technical Requirements:
  • Completed higher education in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Aeronautics or related areas;
  • Previous experience with product development for the defense or aerospace sectors;
  • Knowledge of technical and regulatory standards applicable to the defense sector (e.g.: MIL-STD, STANAG, ISO);
  • Experience with CAD tools (Inventor, SolidWorks or similar) and PLM systems (Desirable: Autodesk Fusion Manager);
  • Experience in APQP, FMEA, PPAP processes and other quality engineering practices;
  • Advanced English
Advantages:
  • Experience with military certification or approval processes with the Army, Navy or Air Force;
  • Knowledge in the manufacture of weapons, ammunition, rocket systems, explosives or similar;
  • Mastery of simulation tools (FEA, CFD) will be considered a differential.
