We're currently seekingfull-stack developersto join our engineering team, with a strong emphasis ondeep WordPress and modern JavaScript experience.About the Role We’re looking for a highly skilledSenior WordPress Developerto join our global engineering team. This position focuses on backend development — building and optimizing custom WordPress plugins, APIs, and integrations for large-scale, high-performance websites. The ideal candidate has deep knowledge of WordPress internals, experience working with enterprise clients, and a strong understanding of scalable, maintainable code.Responsibilities Design and developcustom WordPress pluginsand themes from scratch using PHP, MySQL, and modern best practices. Implementadvanced custom fields (ACF),custom post types, andtaxonomiesfor structured data management. Optimize database queries and improve performance across complex WordPress sites (meta queries, caching, indexing). Integrate WordPress withthird-party APIsand automation tools (REST, webhook systems, Make/Zapier, Algolia, etc.). Develop and maintaincron jobs, background tasks, and data synchronization scripts. Build and maintainGutenberg blocksor React-based admin components when required. Ensure sites meetperformance, accessibility, and SEO standards(Lighthouse, Core Web Vitals). Collaborate with cross-functional teams (frontend, DevOps, QA, design) followingAgilepractices. Write clean, well-documented, andunit-testedcode following OOP principles and WordPress coding standards. Minimum Qualifications 5+ years of professional WordPress development experience, focusing on backend and custom plugin work. Strong proficiency inPHP, MySQL, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Experience withWordPress hooks (actions & filters), custom queries, and optimization strategies. Proficient inACF,CPT UI,Gutenberg, andWooCommerce. Solid understanding ofWordPress REST API,webhooks, andAPI integrations. Familiarity withversion control (Git)andCI/CD pipelines. Experience withperformance optimization, caching mechanisms, and scalable WordPress architectures.
