Overview

Firmware Engineer (Embedded Systems) - Health Care at Truelogic. The client is creating a fundamentally better healthcare experience for people with chronic health conditions and those that care for them. They are building a breakthrough healthcare device that uses radar sensing to track vital signs and integrates with an LLM-powered companion chatbot.

They are backed by a strategic partner and are on a mission to transform senior care by reducing costs and improving outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Bring up radios and sensors: LTE, Bluetooth, Wi‑Fi, radar.
  • Develop and maintain drivers and board support packages.
  • Implement reliable OTA update and monitoring systems.
  • Debug and stabilize firmware in a multi-sensor environment.
  • Optimize for resource constraints (memory, threading, power, concurrency).
  • Collaborate on backend/LLM API integrations.
Qualifications And Job Requirements
  • 3–5+ years hands-on firmware development in C/C++ on embedded/RTOS/Linux systems.
  • Recent track record of shipping embedded systems (not just legacy experience).
  • Experience with radios and sensor bring-up (LTE, BT, Wi‑Fi, radar).
  • Strong debugging skills with tools like JTAG, logic analyzers, crash analysis, watchdogs.
  • Knowledge of resource-constrained environments.
  • Startup-ready: thrive in a fast-paced, no-ramp-up environment.
  • Located in Latin America.
  • Fluent English
