Senior Product Manager**Position Summary**:**Principal Responsibilities**:**Education / Experience Requirements**:**Specialized Skills / Other Requirements**:***:The Senior Product Manager role creates, executes, and manages full-stream marketing efforts for the Latin America business. The incumbent will lead marketing efforts for the Teleflex surgical portfolio including our Weck® Hem-o-lok® Polymer Locking Ligation System. This person will actively partner with the global business unit and the Latin America sales organization to ensure the execution and implementation of the marketing strategies.**PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES**:- Provide day to day management of assigned surgical product line(s), programs and sales support in the field.- Create and manage programs to increase penetration and drive sales of existing products - sales and product promotions, customer targeting.- Research the market trends, market size and competitive landscape for assigned product franchises- Drive portfolio management; develop product pipeline and roadmap for assigned product franchises aligned with business unit strategic initiatives.- Develop content for core products and new product introductions including market development, training, education and sales / marketing collateral (publications, brochures, electronic media and marketing communication / education content).- Develop and / or consult on operational initiatives to improve cost, quality, product efficiencies, and profitability.- Develop, maintain and leverage key opinion leader (KOL) relationships for regional voice of customer (VOC) feedback and new idea generation process.- Create designated product line positioning and pricing strategy.- Support the Sales team with sales materials, customer communications and presentations, information for Request for Proposals (RFPs).- Assist with creation and maintainenace of operating plan and budget for assigned product line(s).- Collaborate with Demand Planning, Manufacturing, and Distribution to maintain high service levels.- Provide support, as needed, to the Regulatory Affairs team on local product registrations.- Attend tradeshow meetings and education workshops. Participate in sales training efforts for assigned product line(s) at annual sales meetings and regional breakouts.- Adhere to and ensure the adherence of Teleflex Code of Ethics, all Company policies, rules, procedures, and housekeeping standards.This position requires direct contact with an implantable device. Yes No**EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS**: Minimum level of education/experience required.- Bachelor’s degree required with areas of preference including marketing, biomedical engineering, business administration or other similar degree area. Extensive related experience (eg Clinical) may be considered in lieu of a degree.- 5+ years marketing experience in overall product portfolio management with limited supervision and product launch experience.- Prior marketing and/or market development experience is required.- Prior marketing and/or market development experience with medical device and/or pharmaceutical companies is preferred, but not required.- Must be fluent in English plus Portuguese and/or Spanish**SPECIALIZED SKILLS & OTHER REQUIREMENTS**:- Comfort level in clinical environment (operating room, etc.). Demonstrated aptitude or prior experience with clinical terminology and general clinical practices in general, cardiovascular and/or urologic surgery is preferred.- Strong formal and informal communication skills. Ability to succinctly present information and influence in both one-one-one interactions and formal presentations to senior leadership.- Basic understanding of factors that impact product center’s profitable performance and competitive advantage (ie Revenue, Margin, ASP, Market Share Data, Pro-forma metrics, Market Definition)- Ability to drive focus, prioritization, and effective time/project management.- Proven ability to work with colleagues to drive consensus on product portfolio decisions.- Ability to work in a lean environment without large infrastructure- Unquestionable ethics and integrity.- Core competencies must include:- Passion for the industry- Drive with focus on results- Action orientation- Problem solving- Flexibility- Time management- Ability and willingess to travel up to 30%
