Job Description We are seeking a skilled Chief Technology Specialist with expertise in designing and building scalable software systems. This role is ideal for someone who excels at developing clean, efficient APIs and intuitive user interfaces. You will be responsible for architecting end-to-end features, improving system architecture, and supporting the evolution of modern tech stacks powering mission-critical applications. Key responsibilities include designing, building, and maintaining scalable backend services; developing responsive, user-friendly front-end applications using React and Typescript; implementing RESTful and/or GraphQL APIs; working closely with product managers and UX/UI designers; optimizing performance across front-end and back-end components; managing databases and data models; contributing to overall system architecture, code reviews, and engineering best practices; writing automated tests; and collaborating in an agile environment with remote teams. Required Skills and Qualifications Design, build, and maintain scalable backend services using Python. Develop responsive, user-friendly front-end applications using React, Typescript, and modern UI frameworks. Implement RESTful and/or GraphQL APIs and integrate them with internal and external systems. Work closely with product managers and UX/UI designers to translate requirements into high-quality code. Optimize performance across front-end and back-end components. Manage databases and data models. Contribute to overall system architecture, code reviews, and engineering best practices. Write automated tests to maintain code quality. Key Responsibilities Architect end-to-end features and improve system architecture. SUPPORT THE EVOLUTION OF MODERN TECH STACKS POWERING MISSION-CRITICAL APPLICATIONS. DESIGN, BUILD, AND MAINTAIN SCALABLE BACKEND SERVICES USING PYTHON. DEVELOP RESPONSIVE, USER-FRIENDLY FRONT-END APPLICATIONS USING REACT AND TYPESCRIPT. IMPLEMENT RESTFUL AND/OR GRAPHQL APIs. WORK CLOSELY WITH PRODUCT MANAGERS AND UX/UI DESIGNERS. OPTIMIZE PERFORMANCE ACROSS FRONT-END AND BACK-END COMPONENTS. MANAGE DATABASES AND DATA MODELS. CONTRIBUTE TO OVERALL SYSTEM ARCHITECTURE, CODE REVIEWS, AND ENGINEERING BEST PRACTICES. Qualifications 3–7+ years of experience as a Full Stack Engineer or Software Engineer. Strong experience with Python and popular backend frameworks. Professional experience with React and Typescript. Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs or GraphQL services. A strong understanding of relational and/or NoSQL databases. Experience deploying applications using cloud services. A solid grasp of software architecture, design patterns, and version control. Ability to work independently in a remote environment with clear communication.
