Our Family of Companies throughout the world compete in consumer, pharmaceutical and medical devices & diagnostics markets and have the skills and resources to tackle the world's most pressing health issues.- Drafts legal documents such as contracts, settlement agreements, correspondence, and reports.- Prepares agreements, instruments, documents, and pleadings relating to litigation and non-litigation matters.- Conducts non-legal tasks including acting as a business liaison between in-house counsel, outside counsel, and affiliate companies.- Identifies and assists in coordinating interactions with witnesses, consultants, and experts.- Provides research and support activity and counsels and advises company personnel to help develop solutions to a variety of complex problems.- Provides training and reports related to specialty areas to employees, outside counsel, government agencies, and third parties.- Recommends improvements to company practice.- Pursues and maintains the most current knowledge of company business and technology. Performs diverse and complex legal tasks within specific specialty areas to best serve business needs- Attends mediations, court conferences, and trials.- Drafts motions, power of attorney, and a variety of procedural and administrative documentation- Performs administrative duties (calendar hearings and deadlines, organizing case files, managing logistics, etc.)- Supports payment process is performed as per companies rules and guidelines- Organizes databases and files. Collects and distributes data and records as necessary- Aids Law Department team in the management of all litigation development stage- Provides assistance with case settlements**Qualifications** Position Requirements**:- Bachelor's degree in law- Fluency in English and advanced level in Spanish**Preferred Requirements**:- Excellent interpersonal skills, oral and written communication- Desirable to have financial/accounting knowledge- Ability to take ownership of job responsibilities and meet deadlines with mínimal oversight and direction- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills- Highly motivated and enthusiastic with demonstrated initiative, adaptability, and integrity, even in the face of difficulties or challenging situations**Primary Location**Brazil-São Paulo-São Paulo- **Organization**J&J do Brasil Indústria e Comércio de Produtos para Saúde Ltda.
