We focus on enhancing developer experience, quality, and security through bleeding-edge technologies. With strong autonomy and close collaboration across teams, we explore new ideas—including AI—to shape the future of engineering. Lead the design and development of scalable, secure, and maintainable UI solutions that support internal developer workflows. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify developer pain points and translate them into actionable improvements. Drive platform-level enhancements using technologies like microfrontends, React, GraphQL, and AWS. Research and pilot emerging technologies—including AI—to improve developer tooling and experience. Influence product roadmaps and engineering standards through proactive engagement and technical leadership. Mentor engineers and contribute to a culture of continuous learning and inclusive design. Demonstrate deep technical knowledge to understand and shape requirements for internal platform improvements. Identify and lead solution strategies that enhance developer experience, security, and code quality. Apply best practices in frontend architecture and secure coding to deliver robust UI components. Collaborate with other squads to pilot new capabilities and ensure seamless integration across systems. Analyse and resolve bugs, performance issues, and usability challenges with minimal guidance. Communicate effectively with stakeholders to align technical initiatives with product goals. This is a remote position. A remote position does not require job duties be performed within proximity of a Visa office location. Remote positions may be required to be present at a Visa office with scheduled notice. #LI-Remote Qualifications Basic Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. 5+ years of experience in frontend development, with a strong focus on scalable - English level B2 or above Solid experience with UI architecture Proven expertise in modern frontend technologies such as JavaScript, React and GraphQL Experience working in cloud environments (AWS prefered) Demonstrated ability to lead technical initiatives and mentor other engineers. Strong understanding of secure coding practices and performance optimisation. Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams. Experience working in agile environments and contributing to product roadmaps. Ability to work independently and proactively in a remote, multicultural team setting. Preferred Qualifications Knowledge of micro frontend patterns Experience improving developer experience in platform-level engineering. Familiarity with accessibility standards and inclusive design. Exposure to AI/ML concepts or interest in exploring emerging technologies. Contributions to open-source projects or internal tooling initiatives. Additional Information Visa is an EEO Employer.
