Reporting to the regional Director of Tax – LAC, this position will perform a variety of functions with a particular focus on supporting VISA's Brazilian operation from a tax perspective. Responsibilities will include providing tax support to the Brazilian executive / business leadership and the different teams in the market on new business initiatives, business restructurings, international tax, legislative updates, local tax compliance, managing of tax audits and controversy, and support the growth and development of the rest of the team.Detail of responsibilities:
Responsible for all tax matters related to VISA's operations in Brazil and support Brazilian related global projects as required.Coordinate and sign-off the preparation, review and filing of the direct tax and indirect tax compliance obligations of all VISA entities in Brazil (preparation is outsourced). This includes any audits or controversy related to tax compliance matters.Assist with maintaining and reviewing the
