We are seeking an accomplished Power BI Developer who is eager to learn and evolve professionally. In this role, you will work with an array of tools, including Power BI, Databricks, Azure, SQL, and Python. You will identify areas that require testing and prioritize writing those tests, ensuring seamless integration and efficiency. You will also spearhead POCs, small-scale development/enhancement projects, and collaborate closely with engineers, product managers, and client success staff to guarantee the highest standards of testing are achieved. Key aspects of this position include understanding business objectives and requirements, which will serve as the foundation for creating effective tests. Additionally, you will refine our QA tooling and continuous testing within our CI/CD framework. A core part of your responsibilities will involve crafting test plans and executing them as needed. Defect tickets for new and existing functionality will be created and managed by you. Release/deployment planning and execution activities will also rely on your expertise. With independent judgment and discretion, you will define complex problems and develop innovative solutions, driving forward-thinking ideas and ingenuity. Time estimates and recommendations for feature prioritization will be provided by you, taking into account technical feasibility and alignment with business goals. Collaboration with internal teams will be crucial to understanding requirements and providing tailored technical solutions.
