Regional BDR Team Manager – Canonical Join Canonical, a leading provider of open source software and operating systems. Our platform, Ubuntu, is widely used in breakthrough enterprise initiatives including public cloud, data science, AI, engineering innovation, and IoT. The company is founder‑led, profitable and growing. We are hiring SDR Team Managers to run new inbound and outbound teams. Our goal is to manage inbound leads for a global tech company, develop outstanding sales professionals, and instill a culture of high integrity, empathy, and rigorous work ethic. Responsibilities Manage and mentor a successful team of 2–10 SDRs/BDRs Maintain a multi‑million dollar pipeline Develop high‑performance sales professionals with a strong interest in skill development and culture building Plan and execute outbound and inbound sales strategies Use data to drive team activities and continuous improvement Collaborate cross‑team to implement innovative approaches and adapt to market changes Qualifications Excellent academic results at school and university Bachelor’s or equivalent degree in Business or STEM Knowledge and passion for business development, sales and technology Track record of bringing exceptional outbound sales development results Commitment to continuous learning and improvement – curious, flexible, scientific Creative problem‑solving and cross‑team collaboration Leadership experience of one form or another Able to use data to drive team activities and continuous improvement What We Offer Distributed work environment with twice‑yearly team sprints in person Personal learning and development budget of USD 2,000 per year Annual compensation review Recognition rewards Annual holiday leave Maternity and paternity leave Employee Assistance Programme Opportunity to travel to new locations to meet colleagues Priority Pass and travel upgrades for long‑haul company events Employment Details Seniority level: Mid‑Senior level Employment type: Full‑time Job function: Sales and Business Development Industry: Software Development Canonical is an equal‑opportunity employer.
