Job Title: Software Development Specialist Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Software Development Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our technology group, you will be responsible for designing, developing and maintaining various applications using Python. In this role, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions that meet the needs of our clients. You will be expected to stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in software development. You will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects, from small scripts to large-scale applications, and will be responsible for ensuring that all code is well-documented and follows industry standards. Mandatory Skills and Qualifications: Data Quality Principles: Strong understanding of data quality principles, including data validation, data cleaning, and data normalization. Python Experience: Hands-on experience with Python, including object-oriented programming, functional programming, and scripting. Trading Domain/Capital Markets Experience: 1+ year of experience in trading domain/capital markets, including knowledge of financial instruments, market analysis, and risk management. Data Models: Proven experience in designing and developing data models using industry best practices. SQL Experience: Good understanding and demonstrated experience working with SQL (MySQL), including database design, query optimization, and performance tuning. Nice-to-Have Skills: Risks Trading System Development: Experience in developing risks trading systems, including system architecture, system design, and system testing. Python Web Frameworks: Experience with Python web frameworks such as Django and FastAPI, including project setup, routing, templates, and API development. Geneva Experience: Experience with Geneva, especially in gSQL and RSL, including system configuration, system testing, and system deployment.
