**The project**: We are looking for an exceptional Full Stack Ruby on Rails/React Developer for this fully remote opportunity to work with a US-based client in the mental health services industry. Founded in 2017, this client focuses on combining precision psychiatry and cutting-edge therapeutic techniques to provide timely care and improve patient outcomes across the clinical spectrum, affordably and on a large scale.
**Responsibilities**:
- Design, develop, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable Ruby code.
- Work closely with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and deliver high-quality software.
- Actively participate and lead code reviews to preserve quality and ensure compliance with coding standards.
- Identify and fix defects and bugs in the software on time.
- Write, and maintain robust, scalable, and easily maintainable tests using frameworks like RSpec.
- Optimize database queries to enhance performance.
- Investigate and resolve issues reported by users or the quality control team.
**Requirements**:
- Advanced English.
- 5+ years in development using Ruby on Rails (version 3.2.2).
- Advanced knowlege of React (minimum 3+ years of experience in React development).
- Strong expertise with APIs REST.
- Solid experience with relational databases.
- Ability with version control systems.
- Experience with agile methodologies.
- Strong experience with usability testing.
**Preferred Skills**:
- Experience working in Healthcare Institutions.
- Experience with AWS services.
- Intermediate experience with RSpec.
- Intermediate experience with Sidekiq.
