**Role Title**:Electrical Technician

**Position Summary**:
This position reports to the Maintenance Leader at the Rio Manufacturing Plant and will be in charge of several activities in the Electrical and Instrumentation department that comprises maintenance on a variety of equipment and process control instruments as well as projects development. Furthermore, the colleague will coach and lead the team to achieve department goals and targets as well as support cost control initiatives.
**Key Outputs**:
- Supervision of Electrical and Instrumentation colleagues
- Coordinate preventive maintenance and repair actions regarding electrical and instrumentation devices in manufacturing units (Blending, Dispersant and VM) and buildings
- Support local OIMS effectiveness and status improvements
- Support project development
- Support GME program, focusing on Root Cause Analyses (RCA) methodology for electrical equipment and process control devices as well as improvement items
- Support and participate on local initiatives regarding "Innovation", cost reduction and others
- Selection and specification of equipment and materials
- Any additional responsibilities as assigned
**What skills will you gain from this role?**
- Leadership skills through coordinating a team of electricians
- Analytical skills through investigation of failures and root cause analysis
- Minimum of 2 years' experience working as an Electrical Technician
- Knowledge of Electrical Substations, Generators, Automatic Circuit Breakers, Transformers (13,8kV-220/440V), Electrical Motors, Over Current Protection (low and medium voltage), Electrical Diagrams
- Knowledge of Transmitters (temperature, pressure, level), Meters (PD, mass, vortex), Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC), Instrumentation Diagrams
- Good relationship and Interpersonal skills - capable of influencing others
- Ability to deal with multitasks and good sense of prioritization
- Knowledge of Brazilian regulation regarding NBR 5410, NBR 5419, NR10 and others
- Knowledge of motors and substations circuits
- Teamwork and Communication Skills
- Intermediate English
