What we expect: Design, develop, and execute functional and non-functional tests for RESTful APIs within a .NET Core environment Implement and maintain automated test suites for regression, performance, and contract validation using tools such as Postman, Rest Assured, Pact or .NET test frameworks (xUnit, NUnit) Validate API contracts and schemas using Swagger / OpenAPI specifications to ensure cross-service compatibility Work closely with developers in a shift-left testing approach — collaborating during design and development to identify defects early and improve test coverage Execute performance, load, and stress tests using JMeter, k6, or Azure Load Testing to evaluate scalability and resource utilization Conduct availability testing and monitoring using Postman Monitors, Azure Application Insights, or similar tools to ensure uptime and responsiveness across environments Support API version management and transition, ensuring backward compatibility and smooth deprecation of legacy endpoints. Validate error handling, ensuring APIs respond predictably and handle dependency failures or timeouts gracefully. Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, sprint planning, and retrospectives to align QA efforts with development goals. Document test strategies, plans, and results to ensure complete traceability and auditability of API quality. #J-18808-Ljbffr
