Data Analyst, Sales Finance Location: LATAM- BRAZIL OR MEXICO Hours: 40 hours per week Duration: 1 year contract About the Role and Team Our Client is seeking a Data Analyst (Contractor) to support the Sales Finance team. This role will help accelerate analysis, reporting, and business insights by partnering closely with the Senior Manager of Sales Finance Analytics. You will work on a mix of ad hoc analysis, deep dive projects, dashboard and BI development, and light data engineering in support of Finance, Sales, Marketing, and Product teams. This is a hands-on execution role focused on delivering high quality analytical work that helps the company move faster. The ideal candidate has moderate SQL skills, strong business acumen, and the ability to learn quickly in a dynamic environment. Projects and Initiatives You Will Support Run ad hoc analysis to answer business questions related to customer behavior, product usage, sales performance, and financial trends Support deep dive projects such as weighted pipeline evaluation, consumption reporting, sales attainment analysis, and LTV to CAC modeling Build and maintain draft BI dashboards in Tableau or similar tools Write SQL queries to pull, clean, and transform data in Snowflake Support the development of repeatable data models for financial and operational metrics Draft summaries and written analysis that highlight insights and trends Partner with internal teams to clarify metric definitions and ensure consistency across reporting Document logic, definitions, and assumptions to support long term reuse Minimum Qualifications 1 to 3 years of experience in data analytics, BI, or a related field Moderate SQL experience with a willingness to learn and improve Familiarity with BI tools such as Tableau, Looker, or Power BI Strong analytical reasoning and the ability to connect data to business concepts Clear written communication skills and the ability to summarize findings Comfortable working independently and managing priorities in an async environment High attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem solving Extra skills that stand out A builder mentality with interest in creating small tools or solutions to improve workflows. Curiosity and experimentation with AI tools is a plus. Experience working with SaaS metrics such as ARR, NRR, churn, pipeline, product usage, or LTV to CAC Experience with Snowflake or similar cloud data warehouses Experience supporting finance, revenue, or business operations teams Knowledge of Python or scripting for data automation is helpful but not required Familiarity with data modeling or ELT concepts Contract Structure Red Oak Technologies is made up of people from a wide variety of backgrounds and lifestyles.
