Senior Python Developer (API Quality and Optimization), Brazil

Responsibilities:

  1. API Development
  2. Updating API's and python libraries as needed
  3. Drive and develop QA enhancements (getting ahead of "logging" which is a real-time identifier of issues)
  4. Handle maintenance work in updating API's and in-house python libraries
  5. Help develop some data pipelines
  6. Automation jobs which identify data completeness and pulls ahead potential issues in production
  7. Update microservices with development logging libraries
  8. Real Time database data pipelines (Saving states as well as identifying any gaps which may impact production)
  9. Postman collection to pull ahead issue

Skills:

  1. Strong python
  2. Experienced working with and building python APIs
  3. Software engineering / distributed systems
  4. Automation / QA
  5. API libraries, e.g., FastAPI, pydantic
  6. Docker
  7. SQL

Requirements for this challenge:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  2. Excellent English communication skills (reading, writing, and speaking).

Nice to Have:

  1. Experience with Databricks platform is a nice-to-have for this position
  2. Databricks certification is a plus.
  3. Experience working with international clients.
  4. Experience working with Azure.
  5. Knowledge of FinOps as applied to the data space.
