**Regulatory Affairs Manager**
**The Challenge**
As Regulatory Affairs Manager you will be responsible for manage Human Nutrition and Care RA team in LATAM in order guarantee product approval and maintenance of compliance in the different markets for the entire nutrition cluster. Advices/recommends to Marketing and Sales, Product Management, DSCM, Purchasing in all regulatory and quality related topics/issues. Support of marketing and sales in customer contacts to RA and QM /QC related topics including alignment of customer quality agreements and CCR handling. Responsible to create a local/regional database and also maintain existing ones (RIMS).
**The Position**
The Key responsibilities in this position will be:
- Manage the HNC and F&B teams in LATAM, also responsible for the strategy and KPIs definition
- Supervise the Dossiers preparation in LATAM for Product approval in collaboration with Product and Project Management based on the global regulatory affairs strategies of DNP. Adapt and submit the dossiers to the local authorities, follow up on the approval process. Support licensing renew and also plant audit process.
- Work with Product Management and production sites to prepare and maintain in order to secure compliance of company / product documentation to law while Quality Assurance & Product Management are accountable for the correctness of product documentation.
- Advocacy: responsible for regional or local representation, networking and shaping activities with focus in HNC and F&B ingredients/products; responsible to take leadership positions according to the HNC/ F&B strategy.
- Provide input on changing regulatory environments and the related impacts on DNP business.
- Support the development of DSM opinions in the area of Reg. Affairs and QM
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of RIMS projects and registration status & planning platforms.
- Responsible to manage the communication report to HNC & F&B
- Serve as a backup of other RA colleagues in the region when necessary
**The Ideal**
- Bachelor’s degree in Food Engineering, Food Chemistry, Pharmaceutical science, Nutrition or any other specific technical area
- Fluent English and Spanish language skills
- Experience in regulatory affairs in pharmaceutical or supplements companies
- Previous experience in ingredients companies in desired.
- Knowledge on regulations and standards for DNP business
- Interdisciplinary knowledge in the areas Analytics, Chemistry and production process, Biology and Toxicology (solid up to in-depth).
