Role Overview
We’re looking for a Marketing Associate who can take ownership of marketing and lead generation across multiple businesses under one umbrella. You’ll create and manage campaigns that not only drive traffic and inquiries but also respect and reflect Japanese culture—a key part of our brand and audience.
This is an ideal opportunity for someone who appreciates or has experienced Japanese culture, is savvy with digital advertising, and can build a visible presence for our services in Japan. If you’re based in Japan, even better—though it's not a strict requirement.
Responsibilities

• Create and manage marketing campaigns across Meta (Facebook, Instagram), Google Ads, TikTok, and other relevant platforms
• Help us appear in local property/guest house searches with light-touch advertising for short-term rental properties
• Develop and test sales outreach strategies to generate leads (email, phone, direct inquiries)
• Monitor, track, and report on results, ROI, and conversion rates for campaigns
• Work across several companies under a single employer, managing tasks and performance in parallel
• Maintain brand consistency across web, social media, and ad content
• Make creative recommendations to improve visuals, messaging, and overall strategy
• Drive direct bookings through targeted content and platforms
• Set up basic performance tracking tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Meta Pixel)
• (Optional/Future) Assist with responding to leads or customer inquiries
  

Requirements

• Experience running paid ads on platforms like Google, Instagram, Facebook, or TikTok
• Strong grasp of digital marketing tools and campaign tracking
• Ability to work independently and prioritize across multiple small businesses
• Strong communication and content creation skills in English (Japanese is a plus, but not required)
• Cultural awareness and sensitivity to Japanese norms and aesthetics (e.g., someone who has visited Japan, admires the culture, or has worked in Japan-related spaces)
• Social media fluency and ability to create engaging posts, reels, or simple video content
• Organized and capable of tracking conversion and campaign performance
  

Nice to Have

• Based in Japan and/or speaking Japanese - not required, but certainly a nice to have.
• Experience in or familiarity with real estate, property management, or hospitality marketing
• Experience with lead generation, sales funnel creation, or basic CRM systems
• Basic design skills (e.g., Canva, Adobe tools)
• Experience working as or with an Executive Assistant (EA), with flexibility to shift into a broader operations or support role if needed
