Overview Estamos buscando un/a Backend Engineer Senior para sumarse a Mendel. Esta oportunidad te permitirá desarrollar y mantener nuestros servicios backend, resolviendo desafíos técnicos complejos para nuestros usuarios. Buscamos personas con fuerte conocimiento en Java y visión de producto, con ganas de construir a largo plazo. Responsibilities Diseñar e implementar nuevas funcionalidades requeridas por nuestras aplicaciones móviles, en colaboración con equipos de producto, mobile, plataforma y otrosingenieros backend. Mejorar los sistemas existentes corrigiendo bugs, optimizando el uso de recursos y asegurando escalabilidad. Entregar código a producción y funcionalidades a usuarios de manera frecuente e incremental. Desarrollar herramientas internas que mejoren nuestras prácticas de desarrollo. Participar en revisiones de código para elevar la calidad de nuestro producto. Colaborar con el equipo de Customer Experience cuando los usuarios tengan problemas con la app. Qualifications Experiencia sólida en desarrollo con Java (indispensable). Experiencia en sistemas distribuidos en entornos productivos. Habilidades de colaboración entre equipos, ya que trabajamos de manera muy transversal. Mentalidad de aprendizaje constante, con curiosidad por comprender y mejorar. Capacidad de apropiarse de los problemas y resolverlos de punta a punta. Flexibilidad y disposición para trabajar en los temas que se necesiten. Nuestro stack tecnológico: Desarrollamos principalmente con Java 17. Tenemos un pipeline de CI/CD para merges y despliegues automáticos. #J-18808-Ljbffr
