Backend Engineer

We're seeking a seasoned backend engineer to join our team and contribute to the development of scalable and secure authorization systems.

  • This role involves designing, developing, and deploying features for Go-based authorization microservices.
  • You'll lead the migration of authorization logic from a monolithic Rails system to standalone Go services.
  • Your expertise will be crucial in architecting secure authorization flows (RBAC, ABAC, deny-by-default) and ensuring observability through logging, metrics, and tracing.
  • Collaboration with other engineering teams is essential to ensure seamless integrations.

Requirements:
  • 10+ years of professional experience in enterprise-scale backend development
  • 7+ years of production experience with Go
  • Hands-on experience with Ruby on Rails
  • Deep knowledge of authorization models and security best practices
  • Strong experience with MySQL or other relational databases
  • Observability practices and tools
