Overview
The Services team is a key differentiator for Mastercard, providing cutting-edge services that help our customers grow. Centered on data-driven technologies and innovation, this team offers consulting, marketing, loyalty, and analytics to financial institutions and merchants globally. The Marketing Services team within Services develops and executes marketing programs to help our clients achieve their goals. The Advisors Creative Desk, part of Services, is responsible for creating engaging, innovative, on-brand content solutions that connect our advertising partners, platforms, and brands.
As a Creative Strategist, you will have a creative flair, always seeking innovative directions based on data insights and market trends. You should thrive in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple briefs, with strong stakeholder engagement and presentation skills.
Role
- Develop creative strategies aligned with brand objectives, based on data insights.
- Ensure smooth handover and understanding of strategies to Creative Directors and teams.
- Lead creative ideation sessions for major projects, guiding teams and interfacing with clients.
- Support Creative Directors with smaller projects.
- Manage multiple briefs and projects simultaneously.
- Collaborate with project managers to align on priorities.
- Gather market intelligence from Research and Client Services teams.
- Stay updated on marketing, consumer behavior, and media trends.
All About You
- Minimum 10 years' experience as a Creative Strategist or Strategic Planner.
- Proven client management skills.
- Strong understanding of consumer behavior, market research, and competition.
- Adept at defining briefs and presenting concepts using research and data.
- Excellent conceptual, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Bachelor's degree, with postgraduate qualifications in creative, marketing, or MBA preferred.
- Fluent in English.
