**Primary Purpose of the position**:
Carry out the Accounting activities, ensuring that the processes are carried out with quality and according to the stipulated deadlines, as well as within the rules established by the company and in accordance with the current legislation
**Main responsibilities**:
- Perform the reconciliation of the balance sheet accounts
- Post manual journal entries, provisions, reclassifications, corrections, customer rebates etc.
- Post and reconcile benefit accounts
- Perform the closing activities of the accounting books monthly, guaranteeing the veracity of the information, aiming to meet requests from inspection and regulatory bodies;
- Generate and validate reports and financial statements (balance sheets, P&L, etc.);
- Coordinate, assist and validate the analyses performed and doubts in the processes performed by the full and junior analysts in the area;
- Communicate with internal GBS customers on a regular basis;
- Define and monitor accounting controls, analysis and calculation rules, in line with the Corporate Accounting area;
- Coordinate projects in the Accounting area and ensure the interface with the IT area to deliver them on time and with quality;
- Meet internal and external audits.
**Position requirements**:
- College degree in accounting, administration, economics or related sciences;
- Advanced knowledge of Excel and Power Point;
- Advanced knowledge of English;
- Previous experience in a position in the Accounting area, of organizations of similar size;
- Ease of communication and interpersonal relationships;
- Ability to organize, plan and prioritize demands;
- High analytical capacity.
- Knowledge of the SAP platform;
- IFRS- International Accounting Standards
- Sox
- Assistance to internal and external audit
**Desirable**:
- Experience in companies operating in Latin America, mainly Chile, Argentina and Paraguay;
- Knowledge of Spanish would be preferable;
