Tech Lead, Web Core Product & Chrome Extension (Europe) at Speechify. Speechify is a text-to-speech app used by 20+ million people across Chrome extension, web, iOS, and Android. The mission is to make reading a barrier-free part of learning.

Speechify has a distributed team with a strong product and engineering culture, focusing on ownership, speed, learning, and empowering users.

What You’ll Do
  • Actively ship production code to the web products
  • Work closely with a dedicated product team
  • Participate in product discussions to shape the product roadmap
  • Contribute to new and exciting features that impact millions of users

Ideal Profile / Qualifications
  • Experience building and shipping products scaled to thousands or millions of users
  • Customer obsession with a focus on high-quality products that meet user needs
  • Ability to work quickly to generate ideas and decide what can ship now versus later
  • Focus to manage engagement and deep work in a high-growth, remote team
  • Collaboration skills to inspire and negotiate with designers, marketers, and PMs
  • Tech Stack: Vanilla JS, ReactJS, Redux, Firebase, Typescript
