Production Planner

Join Western Digital as a Production Planner to manage production schedules, optimize inventory, and collaborate across teams in Bian, Laguna.

Key responsibilities include:

• Creating and managing the master production schedule, balancing customer demand with production capacity and material availability.
• Understanding MRP mechanics to ensure timely availability of raw materials and components, minimizing shortages and excess inventory.
• Developing detailed production schedules and meeting delivery deadlines.
• Supporting inventory optimization, conducting root cause analysis for discrepancies, and implementing cost reduction strategies while maintaining service levels.
• Collaborating closely with Production, Logistics, Sales, Procurement, and Engineering teams to ensure seamless information flow and operational alignment.
• Learning and supporting the Production control process, including effective implementation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of the Integrated Management System (IMS) and Business Continuity Management System (BCMS) within the department.

The company is looking for:

• Recent graduate (within last year) of BS in Industrial Engineering, Mathematics, Information Technology, or related field.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Familiarity with production planning concepts such as demand forecasting, master production scheduling, and MRP.
• Self-starter with ability to adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Strong sense of accountability and growth mindset.
• Ability to take ownership of tasks and seek opportunities for improvement.
