Contract Duration: 6 to 12 months Engagement Model: Independent Contractor / Contract Work Model: Nearshore – Remote Work Schedule: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM (EST) About the Opportunity We are a staffing and recruitment consultancy supporting one of our clients with a long-term project. We are seeking a Scrum Master to join a Product & Engineering environment, supporting one to two Scrum teams and contributing to the continuous improvement of Agile practices. This is a hands-on role, ideal for a professional who is comfortable working with distributed teams and collaborating closely with Agile leadership. Experience Level Mid-level (2–5 years of experience as a Scrum Master) Key Responsibilities Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies, ensuring alignment with Agile principles Support and guide one Scrum team, with potential responsibility for a second team Partner with an enterprise Agile Coach to improve team performance and delivery Assist with the implementation and adoption of SAFe practices Identify, escalate, and help remove impediments impacting team progress Foster a culture of continuous improvement through experimentation and feedback Work closely with mid-level managers and cross-functional team members across multiple regions Required Skills & Experience 2+ years of experience as a dedicated Scrum Master Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Scrum of Scrums) Familiarity with SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework); certifications are a strong plus Experience working with Agile tools such as Jira, Confluence, or similar Proven ability to manage stakeholder expectations and navigate team conflicts Experience working with distributed, global teams Soft Skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong collaboration and teamwork mindset Problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities Adaptability, flexibility, and a proactive attitude Ability to challenge ideas constructively and negotiate pushback when needed Independent thinker with a continuous improvement mindset Education & Certifications SAFe certification is highly desired Bachelor’s degree in a related field (optional) Additional Requirements Ability to work effectively in a remote environment Comfortable collaborating with teams across North America, Europe, and Asia Willingness to learn, adapt, and evolve within Agile frameworks
