About the Role We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to fill the position of Principal Backend Engineer/Senior Software Engineer. Develop and Maintain Applications: Main Responsibilities Create, enhance, and maintain secure, scalable backend services using C#/.NET. Integrate with APIs like Plaid, Dwolla, and Treasury Prime. Shape System Architecture: Key Contributions Contribute to system design, ensuring performance, scalability, and security across FinTech applications. Write Quality Code: Core Skills Implement and test maintainable, well-documented code, with a focus on automation and software best practices. Support Production Systems: On-going Tasks Monitor and troubleshoot production applications to ensure high availability and quick issue resolution. Collaborate Across Teams: Mandatory Qualifications Work closely with front-end, QA, product, and IT teams. Mentor junior engineers. Focus on Security and Compliance: Essential Requirements Embed security best practices. Maintain compliance with FinTech regulations.
