Senior Financial Analyst Howard University is seeking a highly skilled and analytical Senior Financial Analyst to support the Assistant Vice President for Financial Systems & Planning. Manage and update the Alvarez & Marsal 5-Year Financial Plan, incorporating strategic initiatives and forecasting assumptions. Develop and maintain complex financial models to support budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning. Analyze financial data and trends to provide actionable insights and recommendations to senior leadership. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather data inputs and validate assumptions. Prepare presentations and reports for executive leadership, board meetings, and external stakeholders. Support the implementation and optimization of Workday Financials, including reporting and data integration. Ensure compliance with internal financial policies and external regulatory requirements. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field (Master’s preferred). Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial analysis, modeling, and planning. Demonstrated expertise in managing large-scale financial models and strategic planning tools. Advanced proficiency in Excel and data visualization tools (e.g., PowerPoint, Power BI, Tableau). Experience with Workday Financials strongly preferred. Excellent communication and presentation skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
