Responsibilities Build the best possible product that is performant, reliable, scalable and beautiful, working on diverse projects and collaborating with engineering teams across four countries (and growing) Solve complex problems and provide elegant solutions to our customers and app users which span across other engineers and product managers Learn new things and challenge yourself to architect and implement features for our MCP, Connectivity API and Embedded iPaaS products Build, debug and manage queues, schedule jobs, map data across different APIs and handle errors, and help solve big infrastructure and engineering challenges Create infrastructure and internal tooling to handle extremely high transaction volume (thousands of executions per minute) Teach and learn from those around you, providing constructive feedback and taking on feedback to help you grow Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and distribute knowledge across all of Alloy Automation Qualifications Over 10 years of relevant software engineering experience, and building web applications at scale with Node, React, Typescript, JavaScript, AWS; ideally an expert with Redux, Mobx, class-based React and functional programming with React Experience with frontend performance optimization and ability to scale frontend with industry best practices Experience building a complex platform that interfaces with hundreds of APIs; comfortable with big infrastructure and engineering challenges Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze complex issues, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions; proficient in debugging and troubleshooting techniques in production systems Proficient in back-end development concepts, including server-side architecture, design patterns, APIs, databases, and authentication/authorization mechanisms Experience running production systems including deploying, monitoring, and debugging; optimizing code, enhancing performance, and improving system scalability and reliability Understanding of security in software development and knowledge of common security vulnerabilities and mitigation practices Employment Information Employment type: Full-time Job function: Engineering and Information Technology Industries: Transportation, Logistics, Supply Chain and Storage Seniority level: Not Applicable Referrals increase your chances of interviewing at Alloy Automation by 2x Greater Curitiba Senior Software Engineer (Remote Contractor, Brazil) Senior Full Stack Python/React Developer - Remote - Latin America Senior Windows C++ Developer - Remote - Latin America Senior Backend Haskell Developer - Remote - Latin America Lead Golang Software Engineer, Commercial Systems Senior Developer, Elixir & React - Remote - Latin America Senior Elixir Developer, React focused Projects - Remote - Latin America We’re unlocking community knowledge in a new way.
