Advanced Machine Learning Specialist

We are seeking a seasoned AI/LLM Engineer to join our team building backend features for an existing Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) service.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with model development, experimentation, and backend engineering, with deployments to non-prod environments and collaboration with DevOps for production rollout.
You will be responsible for building and optimizing RAG models for search across large-scale medical and scientific documents, including pre-processing and embedding over half a billion documents.
A strong background in Search Technology Experience – OpenSearch, Python development, and Familiarity with LangChain for building LLM workflows using tools, memory, and retrieval is required.
Key qualifications include 1+ years of experience as a Search Engineer or AI Engineer, Strong communication skills, and the ability to work independently while providing clear updates to the team.
The role involves contributing to the growth and success of the team by leveraging your expertise in AI/ML engineering and software development.
A portfolio showcasing your experience with AI/ML models, software development, and technical writing would be highly valued during the application process.
