Lead Quality Engineer – Tietoevry Create (m/f/d) – Relocation to Asuncion (PY) Become a Lead Quality Engineer at Tietoevry, leading quality assurance for global projects in Asuncion, Paraguay. Mentoring, strategy, and hands‑on testing are at the core of this role. Job Description MentorMate, a division of Tietoevry Create, provides digital transformation solutions. The role focuses on leading the QA process and implementing quality standards across various projects. Responsibilities Lead the quality assurance process for multiple projects. Develop and implement quality standards and best practices. Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance. Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to identify and resolve quality issues. Provide training and support to team members on quality‑related matters. Qualifications Proven experience as a Quality Engineer or similar role. Strong knowledge of QA methodologies and tools. Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills. Ability to lead and mentor a team. Fluent in Spanish and English (verbal and written). Foundational knowledge of testing techniques, processes, defect reporting and tracking. Proficient with at least one programming language (Java or Python preferred). Good understanding of object‑oriented programming for automated test development. Experience implementing simple automated test cases using UI test automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress or Playwright. Good knowledge of API testing. University degree in Software Engineering, Systems Analysis or related IT field. Commitment and enthusiasm for automation testing. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Additional Requirements Experience with software development and testing. Knowledge of industry standards and regulations. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
