Social and Emotional Learning Leader
4 semanas atrás
At St Paul's we believe in developing SEL (Social & Emotional Learning) skills through a nurturing and trustworthy environment. We focus on building positive relationships with pupils to support their mental health and wellbeing, which we know enhances both social and academic outcomes. We take a proactive, preventative approach to support our pupils as they navigate issues that could adversely affect them.
This is a new role in St Paul's structure, that will work with our Junior School Pupils (between 3-11 years old). This position will report to the School Counsellor/Mental Health Lead and work alongside the Junior School Pastoral Head and the Wholeschool PSHE & SEL coordinator to enhance Mental Health & Wellbeing.
As a new position in the structure, we expect this job description to evolve and adapt according to the School needs.
**About us**:
St. Paul's was founded in 1926 and was the first school in South America to receive accreditation from the UK government as a British School Oversees. Fully coeducational, with about 1,000 pupils, aged from 3 to 18, it is a school with history and tradition, but which embraces innovation, contemporary values and the latest in digital learning. We are a world-class school, and an international member of HMC and IAPS, and a member of COBIS and the LAHC. We are proud of our local, national and international reputation and we constantly strive to improve the opportunities for our pupils and staff. Our recent BSO inspection judged us as a leading British School overseas, and you can download the report from our website. Our exceptional facilities place teaching and learning at the heart of the school.
