In this role you will: (responsibilities) A SAP FICO S/4HANA consultant specializes in implementing, configuring, and supporting the Finance and Controlling modules within the SAP S/4HANA environment. This involves working with business users to understand their needs, translating those needs into SAP solutions, and ensuring the system effectively supports financial processes. Key responsibilities include leading projects, providing expertise in SAP FICO best practices, and offering ongoing support and training. Here's a more detailed breakdown of the typical tasks and responsibilities: Core Responsibilities: Implementation and Configuration: Lead or participate in the full lifecycle of SAP S/4HANA implementation projects, from planning and blueprinting to go-live and post-implementation support. Configure and customize SAP S/4HANA Finance (FI) and Controlling (CO) modules, including General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Asset Accounting (AA), Cost Center Accounting (CO), Profit Center Accounting (PCA), and Internal Orders. Develop functional specifications, conduct fit-gap analysis, and create documentation for configuration and customization. Business Analysis and Requirements Gathering: Work with business stakeholders to understand their financial processes and translate them into system requirements. Conduct workshops, gather requirements, and document business needs. Design solutions that align with business requirements and best practices. Testing and Training: Develop test plans and scripts for unit, integration, and user acceptance testing. Conduct testing and support end-users during testing phases. Provide end-user training on SAP FICO functionalities and processes. Support and Maintenance: Provide ongoing support for SAP FICO modules, including troubleshooting issues and resolving system errors. Maintain and update documentation related to SAP FICO modules. Support data migration activities and system upgrades. Integration and Collaboration: Collaborate with other IT teams and functional areas to ensure seamless integration of SAP FICO with other modules and systems. Work with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve integration issues. Subject Matter Expertise: Act as a subject matter expert for SAP FICO, providing guidance and support to other team members and stakeholders. Stay up-to-date with the latest SAP S/4HANA features and best practices. Skills and Experience: Strong understanding of SAP S/4HANA Finance and Controlling modules. Experience with SAP FICO configuration, implementation, and support. Proficiency in business analysis, requirements gathering, and solution design. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills. Experience with data migration, testing, and training. Knowledge of integration points with other SAP modules (e.G., SD, MM, PP). Experience with Central Finance is a plus. Experience with SAP Ariba and integrations is a plus. Experience with SAP S/4HANA Cloud is a plus.
