About Marketing Partnerships

At Netflix, Marketing Partnerships maximizes the impact of brand engagements, driving business results through creative excellence. The team consists of (4) distinct business units focused on distinct outcomes:

  • Distribution Partnerships: grow our subscriber base

  • Brand Partnerships: promote our titles to members

  • Ads B2B Marketing: drive preference with advertisers

  • Integrated Marketing: offer custom solutions for advertisers

All of these objectives are supported by the Marketing Partnerships Creative team that collaborates with external brands and agency/production partners as well as internal cross-functional teams to create compelling campaigns, activations, sponsorships, and other innovative solutions. The Marketing Partnerships Creative team consists of (3) disciplines: Brand Strategy, Creative, and Creative Production. This team is tasked with ensuring partnership programs are rooted in a compelling strategy, crafted at the highest quality, and executed flawlessly. About The Role

We are seeking a Creative Manager with strong experience working on brands from various categories to lead end-to-end creative for many of our partnerships. You will be joining an established group of creatives, strategists, and producers who have been tasked with building bigger, better, and longer-term partnerships, for which creative excellence has been identified as an integral component.

You will own creative campaigns for Netflix’s major partnerships with global/regional brands as well as top creative/media/partnership agencies, across a variety of product categories in support of Netflix’s content releases and its platform. You’ll work with members of the team to pitch, develop and execute creative for partner programs that will help us to deepen consumer engagement and awareness of our original content around launch. You will work cross-functionally with internal creative teams, brands, & creative agencies, creative studios and freelancers to deliver best-in-class creative executions.

While this role requires functioning as a holistic ‘creative director’ (messaging, copy and design), the preferred candidate will have a deep track record in art direction across a variety of mediums including digital, video, and print.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Ideate, pitch and execute best-in-class creative campaigns to co-promote key Netflix titles and our brand partners.

  • Extract insights from partners and internal marketing teams to develop and steer the creative vision from beginning through to execution

  • Build foundational concepts that reflect the strategic intersection between the brand and the title

  • Provide guidance and feedback to partner creative agencies, studios, freelancers and brands

  • Translate our brand/marketing requirements into ideas the partner and ultimately consumers easily understand

  • Introduce new partners and their agencies to the Netflix brand, creative guidelines and workflow

  • Drive successful integration of broader creative content and brand initiatives at Netflix and our strategic partners

  • Attend partner meetings and manage all creative relationships

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including: Integrated Marketing, Sales, Creative Marketing, Social, Content, Events, and Public Relations.


REQUIREMENTS:

  • 10+ years of proven experience in a creative role within entertainment, advertising, or related industry.

  • A strong portfolio of award-winning work spanning a range of different industries.

  • Passionate and curious about marketing, brands, and entertainment.

  • Have key, demonstrable experience leading innovative creative solutions with notable brands.

  • Strong experience in brand and/or consumer marketing. Partnerships experience a plus.

  • Confident presentation skills and excellent communication skills.

  • Experience and palpable passion for building great content marketing programs that are unique and scalable.

  • High ability to cultivate relationships and efficiently communicate across multiple cross-functional partners: internal, external and agency partners

  • Clear and articulate speaker, in both Portuguese and English
