About This Role

  • We are seeking a talented translator to join our team as a Brazilian-Portuguese Language Specialist. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in translation and be proficient in CAT tools such as Trados, MemoQ, and Smartling.
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for translating products and business documents from English to Portuguese or from Chinese to Portuguese with precision and accuracy in a timely and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities

  • Translate complex technical and business content from English to Portuguese, ensuring high-quality results that meet client expectations.
  • Update and maintain the Portuguese termbase of products, ensuring consistency and accuracy across all translations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless product localization and improve user experience.
  • Perform other translation, localization, and relevant work as assigned by management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or above in Translation, Linguistics, or a related field.
  • Fluency in Brazilian Portuguese and proficiency in another language (English or Chinese).
  • At least 2 years of experience in translation with linguistic certificates.
  • Proficient in CAT tools such as Trados, MemoQ, and Smartling.
  • Experience in finance, securities, futures, and digital currency is preferred.
  • Strong learning abilities, excellent communication and coordination skills, and a quick response time.
