Key Responsibilities:

  • Edits audio and video for podcast episodes, YouTube videos, advertisements, and branded content to create high-quality, color-corrected, synchronized video content.
  • Ensures audio clarity, corrects sync issues, and enhances sound quality using noise reduction, EQ, and other techniques.
  • Adds intro/outro music, sound effects, and transitions for a polished final product.
  • Creates shorter video clips for social media platforms (e.g., Instagram, YouTube, TikTok) by selecting impactful or interesting moments from episodes.
  • Tailors clips for specific platform requirements (aspect ratios, length, captioning) and audience engagement.
  • Adds dynamic motion graphics, lower thirds, captions, and animations to enhance viewer experience.
  • Integrates title cards, branding elements, and background visuals in alignment with the visual identity of the podcast.
  • Works closely with hosts, producers, and social media managers to align on styles, themes, key messages, and desired tone.

Requirements:

  • Advanced to fluent English speaking skills.
  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in video editing, preferably with podcast or interview-style content.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar video editing software; familiarity with audio software (e.g., Audacity, Adobe Audition) is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of sound design, color correction, and high-level motion graphics/animations.
  • Excellent attention to detail and quality control in all aspects of editing.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with multiple teams.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • Demonstrated experience through a portfolio of video editing work.
