The Inside Product Specialist (IPS) is a key contributor to our Sales processes. The IPS qualifies leads and actively sells Siemens Digital Industries Software products while working in a team environment and with various sales channels. The IPS collaborates with other sales teams and account managers while driving the sales process and meeting individual sales goals. The IPS sells solutions and training, driving opportunities to close over the phone and virtual meetings and working on various promotions as they are introduced. The IPS understands SaaS business models and knows how to use this knowledge as a leverage.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Sales management including the development and closing of new customers while expanding sales within the existing customer base.
- Driving sales through strong selling practices to include prospect identification, relationship development, needs assessment, competitive product positioning, negotiation and closure.
- Actively contributes to the success of Sales channels by participating in relevant annual, quarterly, and weekly business planning activities to include forecastings opportunity management, and attainment of sales goals.
- Grow marketing qualified leads into Sales qualified leads, drive promotions and seek add-on sales opportunities.
- Follow up and cold calls for target campaigns.
- Account development initiatives
- Use and enrich our databases (Salesforce) to develop accounts and opportunities
**Skills Required**:
- Proven track record uncovering opportunity and introducing products over the phone.
- Capacity to Work Collaboratively and has strong communication skills
- Strong organizational skills and problem solving skills
- Effective Time Management
- Growing existing accounts and qualifying new business prospects
- Proven ability to open doors, and build relationships at all levels in an organization
- Ability to research and quickly translate information into action
- Self-motivated and target driven
- Ability to document all the relevant information to the sales processes
**Education and Experience Requirements**:
- 2 -3 years’ experience as Inside Sales, Business Development or Account Manager
- Business or Engineering background beneficial but not required
- English proficiency
- Spanish proficiency is beneficial but not required
- Proficient in using CRM systems
- Experience with selling software is beneficial
