Role Overview We’re looking for a Shopify Account Manager to join our growing team. In this role, you will serve as the main point of contact for our clients — managing relationships, guiding strategy, and ensuring flawless execution of e-commerce initiatives. You’ll work closely with our design, development, and CRO teams to plan, implement, and optimize Shopify storefronts that deliver tangible business results. This position is fully remote and ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, communicates clearly, and has a deep understanding of Shopify and e-commerce growth mechanics. Key Responsibilities Act as the primary liaison between Step Labs and assigned clients, ensuring strong communication and satisfaction throughout every project phase. Develop strategic roadmaps tailored to each client’s growth goals — including CRO experiments, A/B testing, and ongoing Shopify optimizations. Coordinate with internal teams (design, development, strategy) to ensure timely and high-quality project delivery. Oversee new Shopify store builds, redesigns, migrations, and CRO-focused updates. Monitor store performance metrics (conversion rate, AOV, LTV, revenue per visitor, etc.) and translate insights into actionable recommendations. Lead client calls, presentations, and reporting sessions — clearly articulating progress, results, and next steps. Identify opportunities for account growth through strategic recommendations and data-driven insights. Maintain accurate records of communications, deliverables, and KPIs using project management tools (Click Up, Notion, or similar). Collaborate with leadership to continuously refine Step Labs’ account management processes and playbooks. Qualifications Proven experience managing Shopify-based e-commerce accounts or projects. Strong grasp of e-commerce strategy, analytics, and key performance metrics. Excellent project management and organizational skills — ability to manage multiple accounts simultaneously. Exceptional written and verbal communication in English (fluent/native-level proficiency required). Ability to interpret analytics and translate data into clear strategic actions. Comfortable working independently in a remote, high-autonomy environment. Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
