**PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES**
Data Warehouse Cloud (DWC) Foundations team in Brazil is looking for a Senior Developer/Lead Software Developer (f/m/d) to join the team and work in an innovative cloud environment while being part of an agile team alongside experienced colleagues and early talents. You will be involved in all stages of the development cycle: design, code, test, and quality assurance of the SAP Data Warehouse Cloud and SAP Data Plane product using state-of-the-art Web technologies such as Node.JS and Type Script. You will have the opportunity to support stakeholders and customers and to collaborate with members from other teams in the SAP Data Warehouse Cloud, SAP Data Plane, SAP Analytics Cloud, and SAP HANA organizations.
**RESPONSIBILITIES**:
- Design new features and create components that can be built, tested, and released quickly with high quality and high reliability.
- Understand the codebase and tech stack, as well as bring insights to improve current architecture.
- Propose tools, processes and technologies that can improve team’s effectiveness.
- Review co-workers code, troubleshoot issues in distributed systems, give root cause analysis for critical incidents and provide feedback to customers when appropriate.
- Collaborate directly with co-workers in other disciplines such as UX, Product Management and other products and Line of Business (i.e. S/4 HANA, HANA Database, SAP Business Technology Platform, SAP Total Spend Management, etc).
**EXPERIENCE**:
- Bachelor degree in Computer Science or related majors. Master or PhD in a related field is a plus.
- You have solid experience in productive software solutions, and have solved complex issues in your career.
- You have some experience with SQL and relational databases.
- You understand of how browsers, CDNs, APIs, and databases interact with each other.
- You understand how to build scalable, secure, high performance cloud products, and how to maintain and extend such products.
- You can break up a big requirement into smaller consumable tasks for an agile team with enough technical details so that the team can start working on the parts.
- You are a self-starter. You will have a team to support you but you are expected to be both a leader of one and of others.
- You have technical leadership experience.
- You are fluent in English, both spoken and written.
