Senior SAP Cutover Lead Location: Remote – Brazil Experience: 10+ Years About the Role We are seeking an experienced Senior SAP Cutover Lead to plan, manage, and execute cutover activities across complex SAP transformation programs, including S/4HANA, RISE, and cloud-based migrations . The ideal candidate will be responsible for orchestrating all phases of the technical and business cutover, coordinating cross-functional teams, and ensuring a smooth transition from legacy to target systems with minimal disruption to operations. Key Responsibilities Develop and own the end-to-end cutover strategy , timeline, and execution plan for SAP and non-SAP systems. Coordinate with functional, technical, BASIS, infrastructure, and business process teams to define cutover tasks, dependencies, and sequencing. Drive the development of cutover checklists, runbooks, and readiness assessments . Conduct mock cutovers and rehearsals to validate timing, resources, and risk mitigation. Monitor and report progress during each phase of the cutover cycle; manage go/no-go checkpoints. Identify and proactively resolve cutover issues and risks to maintain go-live stability. Collaborate with project management, business owners, and system integrators to ensure alignment with overall deployment milestones. Facilitate post-cutover reviews, stabilization planning, and transition to support teams. Maintain detailed documentation and ensure compliance with change control and audit standards. Required Skills & Experience 10+ years of SAP experience, with 5+ years leading cutover planning and execution for SAP ECC, S/4HANA, or RISE programs. Proven track record managing large-scale, multi-stream cutovers involving multiple systems and geographies. Strong understanding of SAP technical architecture, BASIS operations, and infrastructure dependencies. Excellent coordination and stakeholder management skills—capable of working with distributed global teams. Hands-on experience with cutover management tools (e.G., SAP Cloud ALM, Solution Manager, MS Project, Jira, or Smartsheet). Ability to anticipate risks and design effective fallback and recovery plans. Exceptional communication and leadership skills with a proactive, detail-oriented approach. Nice to Have Experience with SAP RISE migrations, Greenfield/Brownfield implementations , and system consolidations . Familiarity with cloud hosting (Azure, AWS, or GCP) and hybrid landscape cutovers. Certification in SAP Activate or PMP/Prince2 project management.
