Principal Backend Engineer

About the Role We are looking for an experienced Full Stack Developer to join our technology team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of building scalable, high-performance web applications and will be able to work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver impactful user-centric features. Design and build responsive web-based applications used at scale. Work collaboratively with engineering, product, design, sales, and marketing teams. Own the full software development lifecycle: architecture, development, testing, deployment, observability, and maintenance. Required Skills and Qualifications The successful candidate will possess: 5+ years of hands-on experience with Java, ideally with Spring or Spring Boot. Experience with Angular (preferred) or React. Strong understanding of RESTful services, microservices, and distributed systems. Experience with CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and DevOps-oriented workflows. Knowledge of databases (SQL or NoSQL). Experience with AWS services for cloud-native application development. Understanding of Docker and containerization concepts.
